BUILT WELLA LIFE WELL LIVED, FROM THE BEGINNING.

We’re a new California nonprofit public benefit corporation working to make neuroscience-informed education more accessible throughout life.
Our purpose is to help people live well in the circumstances that shape their lives, from the beginning of parenthood and the demands of service to creative practice, care for the natural world, and life in a changing technological age.

Help shape what comes next.
OUR WORK
Built Well for Life brings neuroscience-informed education into five areas of life where people are learning, adapting, caring for others, creating, and finding their way forward.

INFORMED BY RESEARCH. SHAPED WITH PEOPLE.
BUILDING WITH CARE FROM THE STARTWHERE WE ARE NOW
We want the experience of the people and communities this work is intended to serve to help shape our programs from the beginning, alongside the research that informs our approach.
We are introducing this work and inviting people to follow its development.
Help shape what comes next ↗OUR STORY
Built Well for Life exists because well-being is not one subject, one age, or one kind of challenge. People need useful knowledge as they prepare for a child, serve a community, make art, care for the places they live, and navigate a changing world.
Our five pillars are distinct, but they begin with the same belief: education should be understandable, relevant, and shaped by the realities of people’s lives. We are building a nonprofit that brings neuroscience-informed learning into those realities, with room for the people closest to the work to help define it.
OUR APPROACH
Start with the experiences, needs, and circumstances of the people a program is intended to serve.
Translate research and complex ideas into clear education people can use in everyday decisions and practice.
Develop work with community members, practitioners, educators, and researchers so different kinds of knowledge can inform it.
GET INVOLVED
Built Well for Life is in its early stages. If this work speaks to your experience or your community, we would be glad to stay connected as it takes shape.
